Sanctuary!
Haiti Trip (October-November); Day Seven: I am back in Port au Prince and the small bedroom that is my sanctuary seems happy to receive me. Truth is, I am exhausted in every conceivable way and I am happy to feel its embrace.
While I normally use this format (Facebook) to discuss my daily activities and to let those who care about me know that I am OK, I will use today’s installment to accomplish both with an economy of words: “I am covered from head-to-toe in the dirt of human purpose and Haitian possibility, and I am alive and well.”
Goodnight.
