Reflecting on the work…
Haiti Trip (June ’14); Day Four:
The purpose of my daily post is to let those who care about me know that I am OK and to discuss my activities. To that end, I will use today’s installment to accomplish both goals with an economy of words.
I am alive and I have not contracted the Chikungunya Fever that is plaguing the country. I’ve conducted one meeting focused on job creation opportunities and another meet-and-greet session with a country elder.
With these encounters in my rear view mirror, I’m now preparing to travel to a friends cabin in the mountains where I’ll be resting and reflecting upon my Haitian journey.
…Until tomorrow…
