University of Lumiere Business Incubator Student Selections Underway
Haiti Trip (March) Day Seven:
On January 14, 2013, I officially implemented a Business Incubator and Career Pathing initiative at University Lumiere.
Since that day more than half of the schools’ 2,500 students have actively vied for one of the 90 available slots in the University of Lumiere Business Incubator program and today I met with 40 hand selected candidates who were seeking official approval. Unfortunately, while I would love to incorporate everyone into the fold, less than ten students were deemed ready for on-boarding and/or inclusion within one of our (HR&DC’s) national initiatives.
Next, I just received verbal confirmation that I’ll be meeting with one of President Martelly’s deputy’s in the morning to further our resettlement camp discussions.
That’s it for now. I’m off to a job creation meeting than back to my room to pack and to prepare for my return home.
Until tomorrow….
