Jim Lange | Miami International AirportIt’s very early Thursday morning and I have just landed in Miami on my way to Port au Prince, Haiti. Since I will be in meetings from the moment I deplane in Port au Prince, I thought it best to check-in now while I have a access to the Internet.

As has become my routine, over the course of the next 8-days I will travel throughout Haiti in my on-going quest to provide dignity for the dead, and hope and opportunity for the living.

While there are to many activities scheduled to list in this space, here are two highlights worthy of mentioning.

  1. I will map out the location of two mass graves that my team has uncovered in Titanyen.
  2. I will also begin to “officially” lay the groundwork for the ultimate transition of the Corail resettlement camp into a legally incorporated city.

Through these activities, and numerous other encounters, I will certainly find myself at the outer edge of my own existence and human improvement, and I will do my best to be worthy of the moments that await me.

Be well and I’ll check-in again tomorrow.
