Wellness Centers, Transforming Resettlement Camps, Mass Grave Ceremonial Prep
My day began shortly after sunrise and I’m only now experiencing the sanctuary of a quiet moment to reflect upon my activities.
While today was filled with many important conversations, the main thrust of my meetings fell within these three categories:
- The creation of wellness centers to address the psychiatric needs of traumatized Haitians
- Legal and operational strategies associated with the transformation of Croix des Bouquets’ largest resettlement camps into a new, legally recognized city
- Logistic and operational details pertaining to this Sundays services at the ceremonial mass grave site in Titanyen.
An exhaustive, though fulfilling, day.
That’s all for today. It’s time to grab a bite to eat and to prepare for tomorrow’s meetings. Be well.
